RICS CONSTRUCTION, BUILDING SURVEYING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT FACULTIES; RICS BUILDING CONTROL FORUM

RICS Construction, Building Surveying and Project Management  Faculties and the RICS Building Control Forum represent the construction industry within RICS.

Collectively, membership of these is the largest within the RICS.

• promotion of the skills of Faculty and Forum members
• provision of global lifelong learning
• establishment of business networks

Regular communication with members is maintained via lifelong learning events, meetings, and regular e-mail bulletins; we liaise with other professional bodies and related organisations, and governments.  We are responsible for commissioning research, the promotion of best practice and the provision of guidance notes and information papers.

At present  we are investigating ‘e-learning’ and ways of attracting new recruits.  We aim to develop members who are competent in an ever-increasing range of skills.  This will undoubtedly lead to a greater sharing of innovative ideas and awareness of members' skills.
