Mark is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Leicester.

He has spent the last 30 years working throughout the UK in the Built Environment – within Private Practice, Commercial and Public Sectors. A Chartered Building Surveyor,he was recently employed for 9 years as Director of Estates at a College of Further Education.

His role at the CIC is primarily to reach out to the younger generation and promote a career in the professions as being their first choice option. To achieve this outcome Mark aims to fully engage the employers, Institutions and education sector in the process.

Mark is married with a grown up son and daughter.
