Mary Budd is an independent consultant. She advises the CIC on Human Resources issues.

After frontline HR roles with Shell and the BBC, Mary headed up the HR department of the Telegraph group, including The Spectator. In 1993 she set up Mary Budd and Associates, providing a range of services and HR advice to a variety of companies, primarily in the professional, media and financial services sectors. Mary is also Employment Affairs adviser to the UK advertising industry through its professional institute. She speaks and writes regularly on employment-related matters.
