Structure

The Construction Industry Council’s work is managed on a day-to day basis by a small secretariat which works under the direction of the Chief Executive who is responsible to the Council.

The Executive Board acts as the main policy and strategy vehicle of the Council. Full Members of CIC are represented through five Electoral Colleges:

The Electoral Colleges nominate representatives to Council and Standing Committees, through which CIC accomplishes its work. There are currently six Standing Committees:

Each Committee is supported by a number of panels task forces, response groups and project steering groups which are established to meet the needs of current activities. The task forces and response groups have a limited life and are disbanded when their work is complete.
