William is the operations manager for the CIC Design Quality Indicator
(DQI) initiative. As well as the core DQI William is currently working on the DQI for Schools with the DfES, Spaceshaper with CABE and the Whole Life Value Toolkit with Constructing Excellence.
William joined CIC in September 2001 after completing the architecture programme at the University of Liverpool. William has a Masters in Construction Economics and Management from University College London, gained through the CIC Research Associate bursary.
William has worked in Architectural practice in the West Country.
His interests include the value added by the design process, modern
architecture and city transformation as a result of political and
economic cycles and influences. Wider interests include experimenting
with modern European and North African cooking, city based travel,
cinema, the post war history of London, theatre and 20th/21st Century art.
William lives in North London with his partner and their children.
