Professionals Development Programme

The Professional Development Programme (PDP) is an initiative which aims to develop the skills which employers are looking for in graduates entering the industry. It is designed to ensure delegates get the very best experience from their work placements and their first few years in employment

This free programme is open to undergraduates on a placement of at least 12 weeks as part of any built environment degree or recent graduates embarking on a career in the construction profession.

PDP is entering its third year after having a successful first two years with courses staged in the North West and South East regions. It is expected that the programme will be developed further to other regions within the UK.

The Professionals Development Programme is an eight-day course covering Health & Safety in Design, Presentation Skills and Personal Development.
