East Region

CIC East provides a single voice in professional and planning matters: particularly, it addresses trans-professional, pan-industry issues in the east of England. Divided along the Regional Development Agency boundaries, it covers the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

CIC-East meetings regularly include Inspire East, Go-East, RIBA, RICS, ICE, CIOB, CITB-CS, Constructing Excellence, CIAT, Faculty of Building, APM, BRE, CFCI, CIBSE, Sitewise.

The five primary objectives for CIC East: 

• Create an influential voice for the built environment with the regional development agency and other government bodies.
• Develop links between built environment organisations in the region.
• Provide a regional platform for built environment initiatives and CPD provision.
• Promote sustainability within the region.
• Coordinate school liaison and careers education between partners within the region.
