What research is currently underway?

CIC London is working with ConstructionSkills to research future skills requirements in the region in the light of a number of major projects including the Thames Gateway and the Olympic contracts.  The final report will be available in autumn 2007.

Examples of other regional activities

Schools Design competition in conjunction with ICE London – Schools were asked to design a sports stadium. 

Surveying workshop for Careers staff in conjunction with RICS and CSTT – This event aimed to demonstrate to careers advisors what opportunities are available in this field.

SME conference in conjunction with CIOB – This event was held on 15 February 2008 and offered a range of generic short CPD courses for SMEs.
