London Region

CIC London was formed to work to provide a single voice for the construction industry within the Greater London region. This region was formally established in 2005 and currently has 16 member institutions.

What are the aims of CIC London?

The aims of CIC London are:

  • To create an influential voice for the built environment with the government bodies
  • To develop links between regional built environment organisations.
  • To work with ConstructionSkills to promote skills development, reduce skills gaps and shortages, improve productivity and boost business performance.
  • To develop a media strategy focusing on clear explanations of the key achievements of the built environment.

What is Property Advice for London?

Your chance to make a difference by supporting London’s charities.

CIC London launched this new scheme, which affects corporate and social responsibility, in May 2006 with generous sponsorship for Barclays Bank.  Consultants are invited to provide London-based registered charities with property expertise on everything from refurbishment to relocation and service charges.

Once you have registered as a volunteer for the scheme you will be matched with a charity requiring your services.  Professionals volunteering for the scheme are asked to provide 1 day’s complementary advice per enquiry.  Additional days are chargeable at the normal rate.
