Date: 22nd September 2009
Time: 6.00pm – 9.30pm
Venue: The ArtWorks Galleries – Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne
Cost: £15
What is 20:20 Vision?
- The need for clear sight and thoughts to communicate with fellow professionals.
- 20:20 Vision is a version of the popular Pecha Kucha networking nights developed by Tokyo-based architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham.
The concept was originally developed by an architectural practice in Japan and the idea was to unite not only architects but creative types from different mediums in an atmosphere that would encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas and networking
- Each presenter is allowed 20 images with 20 seconds to present each slide to the audience, making the presentation exactly 6 minutes 40 seconds. A typical Pecha Kucha night hosts eight to 14 presenters
The 20:20 Vision evening is designed to make presentations more vibrant and stimulate discussion in an entertaining and casual environment!
