Formed in 2001, CIC East has grown significantly from a core group of professional bodies working together into an active body with broad, pan-industry interests. The Executive Committee currently meets four times per year in the East Region. Glen Owen, Regional Director for ICE is Chair of CIC East.

Key Objectives

• Create an influential voice for the built environment with the regional development agency and other government bodies.
• Develop links between built environment organisations in the region.
• Provide a regional platform for built environment initiatives and CPD provision.
• Promote sustainability within the region.
• Coordinate school liaison and careers education between partners within the region.
