In the aftermath of the Grenfell fire tragedy [14 June 2017], the Council agreed to establish a panel of Members’ experts to advise on all issues relating to the fire and on the independent government-led and industry-led responses.

The Panel oversee the development of a submission to the Grenfell Public Inquiry and the Hackitt Review.  The Panel is chaired by Turlogh O'Brien.
