Built Environment Professional Services Skills Survey 2003/2004

This survey was undertaken nationally by CIC as a partner in ConstructionSkills. The results raise issues relating to the recruitment, skills and competence expectations of employers and whether existing education training providers and industry support is adequately addressing the needs and gaps. It is a survey of professional services practices and firms, their outputs and activity, for the financial year 2001/2002. The aim of the survey has been to assess the size of the UK market for construction professional services.

Users’ guide to adjudication – construction umbrella bodies adjudication task group

This guide provides a general introduction to adjudication in the context of construction contracts, and in particular the right to adjudication provided by section 108 of the Housing Grants and Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
