Building Control – an Overview to the New Regime
From 1st October 2023, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) will oversee the building control approval process for all higher-risk buildings. These buildings will also have to pass through a more rigorous process consisting of three gateway points. The BSR’s powers apply not only to the design, construction, and refurbishment of higher-risk buildings, but also to their ongoing safety management while they are occupied, so that residents are safe – and feel safe – in their homes.
Due to popular demand BSR are repeating their one-hour lunchtime webinar on Wednesday 9th August, from 12pm-1pm which will be hosted by Colin Blatchford-Brown, Operational Policy lead for Gateways and Building Control and Jenny Hagan, Senior Policy Advisor for Gateways and Building Control.
Why you should attend?
This engaging and free-to-attend webinar will provide a clear overview of what the new building control regime will mean to you and your organisation. There will be plenty of time to put your questions to Colin and Jenny during the webinar’s Q&A session.
