Built Environment Professional Skills Survey Launch

This event has finished

CIC is to publish the results of the Built Environment Professional Services Skills Survey 2003/2004. This survey was undertaken nationally by CIC, in its role as a partner in ConstructionSkills. The results raise issues relating to the recruitment, skills and competence expectations of employers and whether existing education, training providers and industry support is adequately addressing the needs and gaps.
The launch will take place on Thursday 22 April 2004 from 9am until 10am at the Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London, WC1E 7BT

The event will present the key findings from the survey and highlight the implications of these for the industry. This will be followed by an informal Q&A session.

Speakers will include Stuart Henderson, Deputy Chairman of CIC, Sheila Hoile Director of Training Strategy for CITB-ConstructionSkills, and Guy Hazelhurst from Davis Langdon Consultancy, who led the research team.
