Chaired by the Rt. Hon. Nick Raynsford, former Minister for Housing and Planning, our October session will feature three excellent speakers:
- Michael Dall, Lead Economist at Barbour ABI, who will provide us with an economic update;
- Chris Savage of the Nuclear Industry Association will tell us about current nuclear construction projects, including Hinkley Project;
- and Hugh Ellis, Head of Policy, Town and Country Planning on the Raynsford Review of Planning in England; Planning 2020 – Interim report
CIC Economic and Policy Briefings provide regular economic and policy updates as well as comments on major commercial projects in construction industry. The briefings bring together leading policy-makers, economists and senior industry players to discuss the key topics in an informal setting.
The Briefings run six times a year, typically on Tuesdays, from 9.30am – 12.30pm with three speakers, Q&A sessions and two networking coffee breaks.
In 2018 all sessions will be held at the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street, Westminster.
