Chaired by Rt Hon. Nick Raynsford, the CIC Economic and Policy Briefings provide regular economic analyses, policy updates and comments on major commercial projects in construction industry. The briefings bring together leading policy-makers, economists and senior industry players to discuss the key topics in an informal setting.
The session on Tuesday 8 December from 9-11:30 will feature presentations from:
- Allan Wilen, Glenigan. His presentation will be on construction forecasts for 2021.
- Adam Simmons, Director of Future Road Investment Strategies and Government Relations at Highways England. His will present on Highways England's Strategic Business Plan and Delivery Plan for 2020-2025.
- Dale Sinclair. He will present on updates within BIM.

The Briefings run six times a year, typically on Tuesdays, from 9.00am – 11.30pm with three speakers, and the opportunity to ask the experts questions.
In 2020 the sessions will be held virtually. The last briefing takes place on 8 December.
