Collaboration, BIM & Information Management 5

This event has finished

What does Building Information Modelling actually mean for project teams in terms of collaboration, team working and information management? What are the processes and standards? How do teams really work in this way?

In the last of his series of 5 workshops, Mervyn Richards continues to lift the lid on these issues referring to the recently published guidance documents by the UK BIM Taskgroup, including PAS 1192 Part 2, the Digital Plan of Work and his vast international experience in implementing collaboration and BIM for project teams.

To attend this workshop please register here to secure your place. There will be a charge of £10 to cover room hire and expenses.

Mervyn Richards OBE is a leading member of the UK BIM Taskgroup, with many years of experience of integrated team working and collaboration within Common Data Environments. He is originator of BS1192:2007 and the Avanti procedures, and lead author of PAS 1192 Part 2. He is also an independent consultant and lectures at London Southbank University.

Although this is the last one in this series, Mervyn will be continuing to do some regular events with us, which we are working on at the moment. In addition we have an event booked in for Tuesday October 14th 2014, “Open Mic with Mervyn Richards”, the opportunity to bring your questions about BIM and hear what Mervyn has to say! Please save this date in your diaries.
