RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London
It's a hardy perennial: we’re not working closely or successfully enough with our colleagues in the construction industry at present. But things are changing, and RIBA wants to bring together senior practitioners in the architectural profession to exchange and debate key business issues with clients and other leaders in the construction industry. RIBA wants to work together to shape the future of constructive collaboration.
RIBA to this end, is holding an evening of networking and short presentations at 66 Portland Place. Before drinks, you’ll hear different perspectives from an architect, contractor and sub-contractor respectively on the current barriers to collaborative construction, with suggestions for practical measures to be taken by industry influencers and key professional bodies.
CIC Chief Executive Graham Watts is chairing the panel debate and audience Q&A, Jo Bacon, Managing Partner of Allies and Morrison, will offer the architect’s perspective, and Andrew Sneyd, Immediate Past President of B&ES will give voice to the M&E sub-contractor.
