BIM enthusiasts will want to be in London on 20-21 April, as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and BRE host their first joint Digitising Construction conference.
The two co-located events – Digitally Built and BIM Prospects – will provide a 360º picture of digitising the construction sector. Delegates booking for either conference will have full access to both events.
The IET’s Digitally Built conference will examine the practicalities of BIM adoption, including whole-life costing, system integration through the whole supply chain, the use of robotics and virtual reality in the construction process and addressing cyber security concerns.
The BRE’s BIM Prospects conference will assess where the construction industry is one year on from the launch of the BIM Level 2 mandate, with updates on PAS standards, best practice approaches, interoperability issues, the development of BIM for product manufacturers and an introduction to the Construction Products Association’s LEXiCON tool.
