CIC 2050 Group Summer Speed Mentoring Event

This event has finished

Following the success of the pilot CIC 2050 Group Speed Mentoring event in June, another event will take place on 28 August, kindly hosted by Argent LLP, from 6pm – 8.30pm, at their central London offices.

Speed Mentoring is a light-hearted approach to mentoring and a bit like speed dating! It is a managed event where mentees get to spend 15 minutes each with three separate industry experts, to talk about a particular challenge or issue or seek career path advice. The event provides an opportunity to be in the company of well respected professionals and to gain knowledge from a cross-sector group of industry leaders. There will also be an opportunity to network at the end of the one-to-one sessions.

Among the mentors will be Chief Construction Adviser Peter Hansford, Anthony Peters and Peter Runacres (Argent LLP), CIC Chairman Tony Burton, Roma Agrawal (WSP), Vaughan Burnand (VEB Lean), Jane Duncan (Jane Duncan Architects), Trudi Elliot (RTPI), Conor Ellis (EC Harris), John Eynon (Open Water Consulting), Mary Rose Griffiths (Gardiner & Theobald), Pippa Higgins (Crossrail Stations West/Taylor Woodrow), Andrew Link (CIC), Tristan McDonnell (ARUP), David Miller (David Miller Architects), Tom Makokha (Monaghans), Robin Nicholson (Cullinan Studios), Richard Saxon CBE, Dale Sinclair (AECOM) and Graham Stallwood (Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea).

The CIC 2050 Group is made up of young professionals who are keen to connect with the different generations in our industry, to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and to develop and influence the construction industry of the future.

The aim of the event is to provide professionals, in the early stages of their career, with an opportunity to learn from those with considerable experience.
