Join RIBA West Midlands highly anticipated annual BIM event, to find out what is really going on across the construction industry when it comes to BIM and what this means for you.

- Discover Smart BIM – Scott Berry, MD of Graphisoft Connect, will show and demonstrate how a BIM workflow (design, collaboration and communication) on new and existing buildings can be implemented

Speaker: Mark Stodgell, BIM Academy
Mark leads client strategy development and technical delivery of projects for BIM Academy. Mark studied Architecture at the University of Wales and has 20-years of experience in IT and BIM systems in the design and construction sector.
Mark is recognised as one of the leading advocates of the UK Government’s BIM strategy and has been involved closely with core groups since 2011. He is currently the North West of England’s CIC, HM Cabinet Office BIM Champion, responsible for disseminating the UK Government Level 2 BIM programme and allowing for a local feedback mechanism to the Government BIM Task Group at a grass roots level. Mark is currently on leading BIM implementation, strategy and training for several Tier 1 UK Contractors, and managing the BIM strategy both on the Greenwich Peninsula for Knight Dragon and for the Hong Kong M+ Museum for Herzog and de Meuron.
