Fire safety and Building Regulations for MMC structures

The National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) outlined their concerns about modular methods of construction (MMC) in their Position Statement (November 2022) and Written Evidence (November 2023). Their concerns include: lack of guidance of design and build an MMC building incorporating fire safetylack of long-term data on the performance of MMC and fire safetyexposure to legacy issues from existing MMC buildings

This webinar will consider whether the new regulations will reduce the fire safety risk posed by cavities in modular buildings, and explore key considerations including Building Regulations for consultants, local authorities, developers, and designers to be aware of when using modular construction.

Anyone wishing to understand more about building regulations and fire safety for MMC construction will;
