Happy Homes

This event has finished

How do engineers, planners and architects design for the wellbeing and happiness and thereby construct happy homes and communities?

Over the past two years, many of us have spent much more time in our homes and local neighbourhoods than we would have ever imagined. Homes play a significant role in living happy lives, but which factors create a happy home? How can we design homes that are not only energy efficient, but also support mental and physical health as well as a setting that makes for strong communities?

The seminar will focus on how engineers, planners and architects can design for the wellbeing and happiness of residents and thereby construct neighbourhoods, which allow for happy communities.
