Joined up leadership for an inclusive built environment
This event has finished
We would like to invite you to join key stakeholders at an event discussing ‘Joined up leadership for an equitable, diverse and inclusive built environment’. This in-person event brings together the Construction Industry Council, the Construction Inclusion Coalition and the Construction Leadership Council. It is supported by the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) and Building People.
The day, which will also provide a good networking opportunity, aims to convene built environment leaders and change-makers who are striving to make the sector more inclusive, fair and respectful, including professional institutions, employers, campaign groups, educational institutions and individuals.
There will be a particular focus on bringing together those involved in sector-wide EDI initiatives to support a strategic approach that avoids duplication of effort, encourages joined-up expert leadership and achieves a ‘one voice’ approach towards EDI strategy in the sector.
Such collaborative working is integral to UCEM’s mission and so this event will be part of UCEM’s ‘INSPIRE’ series. These are themed sessions that will convene influential stakeholders to consider the various challenges facing the built environment sector, so that we can together:
INfluence for Skills, Productivity, Industry, Research and Education.
More joined-up leadership is vital in reducing fragmentation and avoiding duplication so that the positive effects of existing diversity initiatives can be combined to drive inclusive change.
We therefore hope you can join us to add your expert voice to the day’s discussions.
Note: UCEM is just using Eventbrite to collect RSVPs for this free event.
