National Construction Recruitment Exhibition

CIC is supporting the National Construction Recruitment Exhibition and the National Engineering Exhibition being held at the NEC Birmingham on 26 and 27 November. The exhibition will profile engineering and construction opportunities for both skilled professionals and graduates.
The exhibition is free to all visitors and is supported by CIC, the ICHemE, IStructE, WES and IIE.

Following the success of the NER/NCR event in May 2004, organiser Venture Marketing Group plans to increase the size and profile of the November show to further support the industry’s requirements for skilled engineering and construction professionals of all levels.
A number of companies regularly exhibit at the show and use it as a forum to recruit staff, including the armed forces who attended NER and NCR on a regular basis. The interactive elements of previous shows will also be built on, such as the ever-popular engineering challenges hosted by exhibitor INPUT. These challenges give visitors the chance to put various skills to the test and provide a platform for them to discuss their career plans with industry experts.
Venture Marketing Group Ltd has also announced plans to relocate the 2005 NER/NCR, taking place 6 and 7 May, to London Olympia. Previously located at Wembley, London , the move is aiming to improve accessibility to the exhibition for both exhibitors and visitors and to take advantage of the extensive facilities Olympia offers
