Post Occupancy Evaluation of the UWE Faculty of Environment & Technology R Block
This event has finished
We heard in a previous BIM hub session the principles and benefits of soft landings from Roy Evans:
As a follow on from this session we will conduct a post occupancy evaluation of the UWE “R Block” accommodation.
During this post occupancy review session we will hear from a variety of perspectives of the scheme now that it has been in operation for two years.
We will review the scheme from a design, environmental, performance, operation, maintenance and user perspective.
Whilst this design was completed using Revit software the project was delivered prior to BIM introduction.
We will end the session reflecting on how a BIM approach, and specifically soft landings, could improve future building performance through its life stages.
This promises to be a session rich with insights into the building’s performance, and will show the likely benefits of a soft landings approach.
