Stuart Rees MCIPS

Head of Commercial – Energy Affordability ,Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), UK Government

Stuart is an experienced and multi-award-winning procurement professional and leader employed by the Government Commercial Organisation (GCO). Stuart has led commercial teams in private and public sectors, including the Vaccine Taskforce’s (VTF) Covid-19 vaccine and antibody contracts valued in excess of £10bn and more recently the DESNZ response to the energy crisis valued in excess of £44bn. Stuart holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Strategic Procurement Management and is a chartered member of the chartered institute of procurement and supply (MCIPS).

Bin Yang

Commercial Lead (Non-domestic) – Energy Affordability, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), UK Government

Bin is a commercial professional employed by Government Commercial Organisation (GCO). Bin has worked on various high profile complex projects and programmes cross both private and public sectors with extensive experience in procurement and commercial management, including the most recent £44bn Energy Affordability Programme in response to the energy crisis. Bin has a Master degree in Construction Management.

Ravi Sindhu

Commercial Lead (Domestic) – Energy Affordability, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), UK Government

Ravi is an experienced procurement professional employed by the Government Commercial Organisation, working in the Department for EnergySecurity and Net Zero. Ravi started her Procurement career at NHS Supply Chain establishing vital frameworks for healthcare providers across the UK. She then moved onto Clinical Trials and now holds a position with Central Government, supporting projects such as DLUHC Community Ownership Fund (£150m) and the DESNZ Energy Price Guarantee Scheme (£24bn). Ravi holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and is studying towards her CIPS qualification.
