The fourth event from Building People in its series of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Briefings for the Built Environment sector. This session will give you an insight into how to tackle the gender pay gap, improving your pipelines and key actions that will ensure fair remuneration and staff development.
Equal pay for equal value seems like a reasonable thing to expect, yet for various reasons, we don't see equitable outcomes.
Data shows that women and other under-represented groups in the Built Environment experience widening gaps between their remuneration and the remuneration that white men receive.
Access to career development can be patchy too and aligns with remuneration issues.
Tackling these issues is crucial if you want to attract people to work with you, and for there not to be a revolving door.
