This CIC Wales breakfast briefing is to discuss the Building Safety Act and the implications on our industry, particularly from a Welsh perspective.
At the briefing, held at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, you will hear from a range of speakers and event will conclude with a panel debate. There will also be the opportunity for networking.
Speakers:
- Colin Blick from Welsh Government will update us on the differences that are being proposed in Wales and the expected timelines for the new legislation.
- Bryn Wilde of Building Safety Construction Group will discuss the requirements and impacts upon the design and construction process from a professional consultancy perspective.
- Emma Francis from Welsh Insurance group Thomas Carroll, who will review the impacts from a construction insurance point of view and also the responsibilities and requirements from a landlord/property owner point of view.
