Setting the Bar – How Accreditation can help build a safer future

This event has finished

10.00am – 12.30pm

This CIC webinar in partnership with UKAS is designed to bring participants up to date with the latest developments in the Government’s Building Safety Programme and to explore how accreditation will be used to give confidence in the assessment of competence called for by the industry led report ‘Setting the Bar – A New Competence Regime for Building a Safer Future’.

The webinar will feature speakers from MHCLG, HSE, CIC and UKAS and there will also be opportunity for questions to the panel and discussion in breakout groups.

The webinar will seek to ‘de-mystify’ the accreditation process for those assessing organisations considering the possibility of being accredited for the first time. It is also suitable for those organisations familiar with accreditation who might be considering the development of new certification schemes in support of the programme.
