Sixth Happold Medal Lecture - ‘Engineering Sustainable Architecture’

This event has finished

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Happold Trust are to host the sixth Happold Medal Lecture, an annual event held in memory of the first Chairman of CIC, Professor Sir Edmund (Ted) Happold.
Patrick Bellew will receive the sixth Happold Medal award after delivering the lecture ‘Engineering Sustainable Architecture’ on Wednesday 26th November 2008 at 7.00pm at the Royal Aeronautical Society, No 4 Hamilton Place in London.

At a time when CIC is celebrating our 20th Anniversary we are delighted to be awarding the sixth Happold Medal to Patrick Bellew to recognise his close association with Ted beginning as a student at Bath University in the 1980s. After graduating Patrick worked for Buro Happold for several years until starting Atelier Ten. Since then the firm has completed a number of high-profile, award winning projects to reduce the energy footprint of buildings.

All Construction professionals are welcome to attend; applications from young professionals will be particularly welcomed. Attendance to the lecture is free of charge, however numbers are limited therefore early booking is advisable.
