Speed Mentoring Event
This event has finished
CIC's 2050 Group together with Macdonald & Company are to run a series of speed mentoring evenings with the first event taking place on Thursday, 17 March 2016.
The process is simple; during the course of the evening mentees will be introduced to three senior industry figures and will spend approximately 15 minutes with each of them. This will be followed by an open networking session.
The mentors will answer questions on the industry, share reflections on a particular challenge the mentee may be experiencing, or advise on career path development.
The aim of the event is to provide people in the early stages of their career with the opportunity to learn from those who have knowledge and experience.
Our objectives are:
- To encourage the transfer of knowledge from generation to generation.
- To provide the opportunity for those in the early stages of their careers with access to leading experts.
- To promote longer term mentoring.
Mentors include: Joanna Axon - Sellar Property Group, Ben Bolgar - Princes Foundation for Sustainable Communities , Janine Cole & George Parker – Great Portland Estates, Tim Chapman – ARUP, Trudi Elliott – RTPI, Sean Gavin - Berkley Group, Yair Ginor - Lipton Rogers, Philip Gullett & Matt Townend – Battersea Power Station, David Hancock – Cabinet Office, Neil Patterson & Matt Perry – Land Securities, Guy Rudd – Blackstone, Alastair Smart – Sellar Design and Development and Nick Williams – Pocket London.
The first event will be supported by Great Portland Estates (GPE) in Oxford House, their marketing suite overlooking their developments Rathbone Place and 73/89 Oxford Street and opposite the Crossrail station development for Tottenham Court Road development.
