An opportunity to engage directly with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) as they explore the golden thread of information for Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs). This webinar will be particularly helpful for accountable persons managing existing HRBs.
Chaired by Peter Caplehorn, CLC Golden Thread lead and Chief Executive of the Construction Products Association, we will be joined by Hywel Davies, Chair of the Building Advisory Committee Golden Thread Working Group, Neil Hope-Collins, Operational Policy Lead – HRB Building Control Authority from the BSR and Aman Sharma Deputy Chair of the Building Advisory Committee Golden Thread Working Group in an online event that will allow you to hear directly about the overarching principles, new duties, practical application and forthcoming industry guidance, as well as providing you the opportunity to ask your questions.
Rebecca Thompson, Policy Lead – Occupied HRB Regime and Golden Thread from Design to Occupation, DLUHC and Andrew Woodhall, Operational Policy Advisor – Occupied HRBs, BSR will also join the panel for the Q&A discussion, providing wider context to the operational, policy and legislative framework.
