Heat networks are the most energy efficient way of heating houses as well as being an environmentally friendly solution and fu- ture-proof. In this seminar, we will focus on practical ways of reaching low or zero car- bon by connecting to heat networks (district heating). We will look at how district heating can help deliver energy efficient homes, tackle fuel poverty, reduce carbon emissions and improve energy security, and examples from Danish cities and Birmingham will be presented.Chair:
