The Liveable City - TRUST IN ARCHITECTURE

This event has finished

6pm – 8pm, IET Birmingham

Denmark’s most important resource and the foundation for the country’s success is trust, the trust people share with each other, the trust between employer and employee, the trust in always finding the best solutions. Trust also plays an important role in architecture due to the importance of creating spaces where people can interact, meet, gather, play and communicate, and in that way break down isolation and segregation. In this seminar, several examples will be presented on how to succeed as a community because of great architecture.

The event is organised by the Royal Danish Embassy in the UK in partnership with Birmingham City Council, West Medlands Combined Authority and the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Chair:

Stephen Willacy, Chief City Architect, Aarhus City Council
