Big data and IoT technologies can help managing and building smart cities to improve our lives on a major scale: They can enable intelligent management of city facilities, reduce energy and water consumption, make parking more feasible and transportation smoother. This seminar looks at how cities can benefit from gathering information, use it to make informed decisions and to make cities smarter.
It will highlight innovative smart city solutions from the UK and Denmark and facilitate a dialogue around innovative solutions to urban challenges.
The event is organised by the Royal Danish Embassy in the UK in partnership with Birmingham City Council, West Medlands Combined Authority and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
