The Professional Institutions’ Climate Action Plan Conference

This event has finished

It has been over a year since CIC launched ‘Carbon Zero: the professional institutions’ climate action plan’. In that time the plan was featured at COP26, has gained forty signatories from organisations working in the built environment and seen crucial work carried out through the ten climate action workstreams identified in the plan.

CIC would like to invite you to this half day conference and networking drinks reception which will be chaired by Keith Clarke CBE to see the progress which has been made since the launch of the plan. We will inspire with presentations from a range of external speakers including Yetunde Abdul, Head of Climate Action, UKGBC, Will Arnold, Head of Climate Action, IStructE, James Lord, Partner, Landscape Design, HTA Designand Aled Williams, Executive Director, Innovation & Partnerships, UCEM. We will bring together attendees to review the next steps for the plan and discuss how we can collectively address the interlinked challenges of Net Zero, climate adaptation and biodiversity within planning and the built environment.

A full agenda will be released in due course but please do click here to register for your free place at the conference. Numbers are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
