Government Construction pipeline & National Infrastructure plan

Posted: 17th July 2014

The Government Construction pipeline and the National Infrastructure plan is now more readily available than ever and is published in partnership with construction intelligence specialist Barbour ABI.

The most recent update was published alongside the Government Construction Summit in early July and can be viewed here. A video about the Government Construction Pipeline can be seen here.

The pipelines have been designed to give you the confidence to make investments in new skills, services and products to win contracts. The National Infrastructure Pipeline contains details of £375bn of anticipated public and private infrastructure projects. The Construction Pipeline collects all anticipated public construction work (including publically funded infrastructure) and accounts for almost £119bn, all of which represent a wealth of future business opportunities for everyone involved in the industry.

In order to help you to access this information, Barbour ABI, in partnership with the Government, has built two interactive maps to pinpoint all the projects. You can search for planned projects in your area as well as focus on specific sectors such as health, housing and waste. Clicking on a project will then reveal a summary of the proposed work, status and timings, and details of the expected cost.

If these pipelines are of interest to you and your business, please register your details on the Stay Informed tab. Thiswill ensure that you receive email notification from Barbour ABI every time the pipelines are updated.
