BIM Regions: BIM Task Group’s Regional BIM Hubs rebranded

Posted: 24th September 2015

As of today (24 September 2015) the BIM Regional Hubs are to be re-branded and re-launched as the BIM Regions.

This change is to reflect the desire to move forward in building the regional network with a refreshed vision and purpose.

Whilst UK BIM Level 2 has been on the industry agenda for some time, there is still a huge amount of work to do. Raising BIM awareness and promoting education across all sectors
and all stakeholders. This is to enable everyone to work effectively using digital information and tools, in the design, manufacture, construction and operation of built assets.

Coming up during our collaboration with Digital Construction week in October, we will share further details on our plans for the future as BIM Regions and Regional BIM Champs.

As part of our refreshed strategy we are actively reaching out across industry to engage with partners and collaborators to help drive the BIM agenda forward. We recognise that the BIM4Communities groups are a key element in this and we will be working more closely with them over the coming months.

In conclusion, our vision is for a digitally enabled world-class AECO industry that takes a leading place in the global information economy. If you share this vision and want to wor with us then just get in touch.
