Contractual Best Practice Guidance
Posted: 7th May 2020
Advice on contractual best practice during these challenging times of the coronavirus, produced by the Construction Leadership Council via its Covid-19 Industry Task Force, has now been issued. This detailed advice and guidance, which includes sample letters under various forms of contract has just been published on the CLC website and can be accessed here.
Alongside the CLC guidance and dovetailed with it, the Cabinet Office has also issued guidance on responsible contract behaviour, earlier today, and this can be accessed here.
Both the CLC (para 6.17) and Cabinet Office (para 17) guidance refers to the CIC Low Value Dispute Model Adjudication Procedure (CIC LVD MAP) which was launched last Friday.
A press release from the CLC announcing the guidance is available here.
