ICES Launches Professional Registration
Posted: 11th November 2015
On 26 October 2015, the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) officially launched its routes to Chartered Engineer, Incorporated Engineer and Engineering Technician. Members of ICES will be able to apply for these grades of professional registration through the Individual Report Route, with the Institution of Civil Engineers acting as licensing body. The Individual Report Route does not require any specific academic qualifications and is a career appraisal that demonstrates compliance to Engineering Council requirements through career experience.
Speaking at the launch, Rear Admiral Nigel Guild of the Engineering Council and former chief construction adviser Peter Hansford congratulated ICES on achieving this level of international recognition for civil engineering surveyors and their vital roles on site.
