Joint CIC & NHS England Healthcare specific Events

Posted: 26th June 2015

CIC, with the support of NHS England and sponsored by Autodesk, is hosting a series of half day healthcare specific events across the country to promote both the quality and the efficiency of healthcare projects. This will be done by sharing best practice from both the UK and from overseas.

The events will provide an opportunity for attendees to seek further clarification on the use and impact of ‘Design Quality Indicator’ (DQI) on their NHS business approval process and on ‘Building Information Modelling’ (BIM) on their employers’ requirements and deliverables.

This series of healthcare events began in London in April, followed by Leeds in May and Manchester in early June. A fourth event will take place on 8 July in Birmingham at The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, B2 5EP. Speakers include Phil Smith, Senior Estate Advisor, NHS England, James Chapman, Architect and Emeritus Professor at Manchester School of Architecture, Ralf Mosler, AEC Business Development Manager of Autodesk, David Kershaw, Programme Director for P21+ and Pat Pemberton, Healthcare Consultant at Interserve.

Attendance is by invitation only. To express interest in attending the event and for more information please contact Danielle Durbauree, ddurbauree@cic.org.uk.

A fifth and final event will take place later in the year and an announcement will be made about this on the CIC Events page in due course.
