Take part in our survey - Construction and Built Environment subjects in Higher Education: Trends, Factors, Risks and Solutions

Take part in our survey - Construction and Built Environment subjects in Higher Education: Trends, Factors, Risks and Solutions - and help us to inform the work being done by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE)

Recruitment into higher education courses for Construction and Built Environment subject areas has been declining since 2008, and is showing only a slight increase in 2013.

This survey represents a unique chance to make a case for support for Construction and Built Environment disciplines in Higher Education by informing thinking on the trends, factors, risks and possible solutions that are faced by different disciplines.

Your input will allow us to find out more about:

• Why there has been this relatively poor recruitment

• What risks could be posed to the industry if this continues

• What could realistically be done about the current situation and who might be involved

CITB and CIC are looking for views on both undergraduate (including ‘sub - degree’, for example HND) and postgraduate provision, and depending on your experience and knowledge, we would welcome your response on either or both.

Due to time constraints the survey is only available for completion for a relatively short time and will close at midday on Monday 14th October. This is to allow for analysis, drafting the report and drawing off papers necessary to ensure a smooth path in making our case, initially to HEFCE.

Your participation could be very important to the future of our disciplines. Click here to take part.
