Tony Burton awarded CIC Honorary Affiliate Membership

Former CIC Chairman Tony Burton has been awarded with a CIC Honorary Affiliate Membership presented to him by current CIC Chairman Professor John Nolan. CIC Honorary Affiliate Membership is presented to individuals and organisations that CIC wish to recognise for their services to both CIC and to the construction industry.
Tony is a Senior Partner at Gardiner & Theobald LLP, one of the world’s leading independent construction and property consultancies. He has over 30 years experience in the industry and has worked on projects across most sectors. Throughout his career Tony has maintained a commitment to professional standards and to training and developing future generations of surveyors.
Professor John Nolan said of the presentation, "I consider it to be an honour to have had the opportunity to present Tony Burton with a CIC Honorary Affiliate Members.I have had the privilege of working with Tony at CIC under his chairmanship and gained enormous respect for his drive, intellect, integrity and leadership. As chairman of CIC he initiated and led an operational review which resulted in a restructuring of the organisation making it much more logical and transparent. He also led on many high-profile initiatives such as the BEPE project and ,as an ongoing board member, he continues to be a massive contributor to and supporter of the works of CIC."
