A Positive Image for Construction
Posted: 19th August 2004
This week sees the launch of Positive Image, the annual image and recruitment campaign for the construction industry. This years campaign includes the first ever TV advertisement, which will run alongside an extensive online, ambient and postcard campaign, in a bid to attract the brightest and best into the industry. The advertisement uses the “what to you see?” challenge to break the stereotypes people have that the industry is just about bricklaying and directs interested young people to the websitewww.bconstructive.co.uk
The campaign has been launched by ConstructionSkills, a partnership between CIC, CITB-ConstructionSkills and CITB (NI) as one of the Sector Skills Councils tasked by the government to implement UK-wide Sector Skills Agreements between the bodies responsible for delivering training in the UK and those that demand it.
