CIC Deputy Chair Keith Clarke awarded CBE
Posted: 19th February 2011
CIC Deputy Chair Keith Clarke has been formally recognised for services to engineering and to the construction industry with his inclusion in the New Year Honours List 2011 bestowed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Keith has been awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
Graham, Watts OBE, CEO, Construction Industry Council said “Everyone in CIC is delighted to see the public recognition of Keith’s dedicated service to the industry, not just for his work as Chairman of CIC, leading the process of successfully campaigning for a Chief Construction Adviser in Government and, in particular, his tireless advocacy for low carbon construction but also for his earlier work heading up the Major Contractors’ Group, for example. Never has an honour been so well-deserved. ”
