CIC Publishes CPD Best Practice Guidelines

In order to help advance the importance of Continuing Professional Development across the built environment, the Construction Industry Council in conjunction with ConstructionSkills and with the involvement of its Member Institutions, has completed the updating and re-publication of the Continuing Professional Development Best Practice Guidelines. There are now in total four documents;
• Continuing Professional Development Best Practice Guidance, European Framework and CIC Users Guide to Managing Your Own CPD;
• Continuing Professional Development Best Practice Guidance for Professional Institutions;
• Continuing Professional Development Best Practice Guidance for Professionals and;
• Continuing Professional Development Best Practice Guidance for Employers.
The Guidelines focus on the empowering of individuals to adopt a more meaningful approach to CPD and help to provide the guidance to facilitate this.
