CIC signs up for the Skyline Challenge 2015!
Posted: 25th June 2015
On 27th September 2015 the CIC team (Rosanna, Laura, Neil and Alex) will race against the clock and climb the 37 floors of the Heron Tower; one of London’s most iconic buildings (standing at 755ft tall) using just the staircase to raise money for Construction Youth Trust (CYT).
CYT support young people whose journey to work may be challenging due to barriers such as financial circumstances, lack of awareness of opportunities, low self-esteem, gender or ethnicity.
CYT inspire and support young people with a passion for construction through education, practical work experience and employment brokerage They work in partnership to deliver free courses that provide practical work experience as well as careers advice. Our partners include community groups, local authorities, training providers, educators, young offender institutions and key industry employers
