CIC's Danna Walker appointed new Chair of RIBA Architect for Change Group
Posted: 4th February 2011
Danna Walker has been appointed new Chair of the RIBA Architect for Change Group. The RIBA Equality & Diversity Forum ‘Architects for Change’ (AfC) was established in 2000 to challenge and support the RIBA in developing policies and action that promote improved equality of opportunity and diversity in the architectural profession.
Danna took over the two year Chairmanship in October 2010.
Speaking of her appointment Danna said” It’s an honour to chair the panel that has been so instrumental in promoting diversity and inclusion, changing policy and supporting projects that are making a difference to our profession.
I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping AfC continue their legacy and working with them to implement new projects addressing equality and inclusion issues.”
